Description (550 Characters Max#)
I have spent the majority of my adult life following my now retired Marine husband from duty station to duty station, all the while collecting pets wherever we went. Despite the nomadic life style, I was able to turn my love of animals into a career as I began working as a Veterinary Technician, and not long thereafter, a Veterinary Practice Manager. I graduated with a business management degree from Western International University in 2006 and earned my Certified Veterinary Practice Management certification in 2015 followed later by my Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional certification in 2020. A life-long learner, I am currently pursuing another certification as a Professional Certified Marketer, I have also completed a Social Media Marketing Specialization from Northwestern University via Coursera. I left full-time practice management to pursue my dream of combining my three loves; People, Pets, and Practice Building, into a successful social media management consulting business. I have a variety of clients, but the majority are small animal practices looking to increase their online presence and engage with their clients on social media.
I speak at various conferences and training symposiums throughout the year. I touch on a variety of topics that include, compassion fatigue, practice management, social media, and much more.
