PRESIDENTS MESSAGE

    2021 Reflections

While I always hate to see another year go by, the excitement of a New Year, which also means new adventures and opportunities, always re-energizes me!

Before we get too excited about ringing in 2022, let’s pause to reflect on 2021. While many of the Covid challenges still existed in 2021 which meant a virtual annual meeting, we did have the opportunity to come together in-person for our August mid-year to celebrate each other, our friendships and our business relationships with handshakes, high fives, and for those that were comfortable, hugs.

While we said goodbye to our long-time admin assistant and friend, Elizabeth McArthur, we welcomed a new management firm to VetPartners, Capitol Hill Management Services and their wonderful team! Our mission to foster a community of members better prepared to meet the business needs of the veterinary profession remains strong with almost 300 members. And through our continued focus of education and networking, we’ve welcomed 26  new members into VetPartners. Each committee and SIG is committed to furthering our mission with specific “bridge projects” they are working on and will be highlighted at our 2022 Annual meeting.

So, as I reflect on 2021, I want to say thank you. Thank you for your commitment to this amazing profession, and for your contribution to VetPartners. All of you in this brilliant association are the builders of everything that we achieve. I know how unselfishly you work to get results every time and bring passion to everything you do. As your 2021 President, I'm flattered and honored to be able to work with you all.

I send heartfelt wishes on a fabulous holiday season and wish you a marvelous New Year celebration filled with fun moments of joy, laughter and love.

    Have a Happy New Year!
